Welcome to A.R.T.S

Artists Recovering Through the Twelve Steps (A.R.T.S.) helps break your creative block so you can follow your inspiration and your passions. We want you to reach your full potential as a creative person. For the professional artist the A.R.T.S. program will keep you on track toward an ever higher level of achievement. As a fellowship of artists we believe in your gifts and dreams and we will help you believe in them too. That's a promise.

5 Alive

5 minutes every day
keeps my art alive.

5 minutes every day
keeps my block away.

In A.R.T.S., bottom line sobriety begins with a humble daily action to pick up one’s creativity, “one day at a time.” Members are asked to do no less than five minutes of art every day. If one picks up even for five minutes there will be days when 5 minutes turns into hours.

“Without A.R.T.S. my vision to shoot and edit videos for a living would have struggled anemically and withered to nothing. When I came into A.R.T.S., I bought my high definition camera with editing equipment and today I compose short movies for a living. A.R.T.S. is giving me the richest, fullest life possible.”
